A Little History/Info About Rick

Rick Mitchell is a 36-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio. He and his partner,
Jerry Newell, 43, live in the Italian Village community with their Shih Tzu,
Jack.  After working for over a decade in the service industry, including 5 years in Management positions at restaurants, Rick decided “do what you
love” in choosing his lifetime career. Having enjoyed planning celebrity
charity events since 1999 on a volunteer basis, he decided to turn his
skills and talents into a profession that he would be successful at as well
as enjoy immensely. As well as taking the course, through
Lovegevity, Inc.’s Wedding Planning Institute, to become a Wedding Planner, Rick has multiple certifications in Business
Management fields through Colorado Technical University and is
currently completing his Bachelors of Science in Business Management
through Western Governors University.  Rick is also a proud member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, an international organization of Wedding Professionals, Columbus Bridal Consultants and Wedding Professionals of Columbus.  He gladly adheres to the Codes of Conduct of all these organizations in order to bring ultimate service to his clients.

In his spare time, Rick enjoys playing volleyball, gardening and he combines work and fun by viewing episodes of his favorite television series,
“Who’s Wedding Is It Anyway?” on the Style Network.
